So, what does your title mean you do at Soaky?
I oversee all food & beverage operations at Soaky Mountain Waterpark and Wilderness at the Smokies. I work closely with the managers at each location to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.
What is the best part of your job?
The lasting friendship built working alongside coworkers in fun environments, and the constant challenge to learn and grow more.
Favorite attraction at Soaky?
My favorite attraction is Black Bear Rapids. I love the combination of relaxing with an occasional wave of excitement! When it comes to slides, the Avalaunch is a lot of fun. I haven’t tired The Edge yet, but I have a feeling it will be my new favorite.
Favorite food at Soaky?
The Fire on the Mountain Philly at our new Philly Up truck is great! I’ve always been a fan of Philly cheesesteaks, but adding those Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to the Philly gives it a little spice and a little crunch.
Piece of advice for first-time guests?
Rent a cabana if you’re able to. This gives your family a place to gather, privacy, plenty of shaded seating, and a host to serve you all your food and beverages.
