What is a vacation without a little shopping? Well according to Jessica B., our group sales manager, it’s a boring time.

Jessica loves to shop so we asked her for her opinion of the “Top 5 Places to Shop” while in Smokies and here is what she had to say!

Best places to shop in Sevierville, TN:

  1. Tanger Outlets: With over 100 stores in the Sevierville location you’re almost guaranteed to find everything you need (or even a few things you didn’t know you needed) while shopping here! The best part is you don’t have to break the bank, with discount prices of up to 70% off retail. After all that shopping, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite, and with multiple dining options located within the area as well, it’s safe to say Tanger Outlets is a one-stop shop!

  • Smoky Mountain Knife Works: A unique shopping experience in the largest brick-and-mortar knife store in the country. Don’t let the name fool you, they have much more than just knives and feature outdoor gear, collectibles, Smoky Mountain apparel, and mementos and there is even a kids section with toys & a puppet show every few hours.

  • The Apple Barn General Store: If you’re looking for a unique shopping experience, look no further. The General Store is a great place to try and buy local products made directly from apples that are sourced on the property. Grab a treat for yourself and one to give as a gift. You can find anything from local food products to cups, games, tumblers, etc. Plus, if you work up an appetite from all of that shopping, grab a bite to eat at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant or the Grill with farm-to-table ingredients.

  • Ogle Brother’s General Store: Another great shopping experience that features local items specific to the Smoky Mountains. The Ogle Bro’s General store features food, candy, locally made arts & crafts, and more. You can already guess that my favorite part of shopping in the Smokies is when there is a place right next door to grab a bite to eat after you’ve grabbed all of your goodies. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen is located directly across the street and features a mouth-watering menu that is sure to appeal to everyone in your group.

  • Mountain Mercantile: This may be a little biased but the best (and only) place to grab your Soaky Mountain Waterpark gear. What better way to let everyone know what an amazing summer you had than to show off your new Soaky shirt, hat, OR water tumbler. Not to mention, they carry a ton of other items to beat the heat this summer like sunglasses, SunBum sunscreen, hats, towels & more.
